Hike Greyton started with a simple idea: the best way to know a place is to walk it. Greyton’s footpaths lead through fynbos, river valleys, and mountain views that change with every season.
We plan routes that match your time, fitness, and interests—whether you want a relaxed half-day wander, a full-day summit push, or a multi-day journey with supported slack-packing or self-supported options.

How we guide
Every hike begins with a route plan and a quick gear check. We’ll share what to expect on the trail—terrain, weather, water points, and timing—so you can hike with confidence.
On the day, we keep groups comfortable and moving together, with regular stops for views, photos, and snacks. For multi-day trips, we can help arrange accommodation (and on more remote routes, camping) so the logistics feel easy.
Values that shape every step
Meet the guide
Harry is the founder and lead guide of HikeGreyton, with a passion for sharing the mountains, history, and natural beauty of the Overberg. Having spent countless hours exploring the trails around Greyton and beyond, he believes the best way to experience a place is on foot.
Harry holds an accredited Adventure Guiding qualification and a Level 3 Wilderness First Aid certification, and has extensive experience leading groups through a wide range of mountain environments. He has previously worked as an instructor on outdoor gap-year programmes, guiding groups of up to 50 participants on multi-day expeditions across the Wild Coast, Cederberg, Alexandria, Kenton-on-Sea, Port Alfred and other wilderness areas of South Africa.
