Frequently asked questions
If you don’t see your question here, send us a message and we’ll help you choose the right hike.
Which hike should I choose—half-day, full-day or multi-day?
It depends on your fitness, time, and how immersive you want the experience to be. Half-day hikes are great for a taste of the area, full-day hikes go deeper into the mountains, and multi-day trips are ideal for a true escape with supported or self-supported options.
Do I need to be very fit?
A reasonable level of fitness helps, but we can recommend routes to match your ability. Tell us your hiking experience, any injuries, and what pace you prefer when you enquire.
What’s included in a guided hike?
Guiding, local knowledge, and food/snacks on the trail. For multi-day hikes we can also help arrange accommodation, and some extreme routes may include overnight camping—details are confirmed per itinerary.
What should I pack?
Comfortable hiking shoes, a daypack, water, sun protection (hat/sunscreen), a warm layer, and a rain jacket in changeable weather. We’ll share a tailored packing list once your hike is confirmed.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll recommend an alternative route, adjust the start time, or reschedule where possible.
How do bookings and payments work?
Send an enquiry with your preferred date, group size, and hike type. We’ll confirm availability and the plan, then share next steps for securing your booking.
